Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
This policy explains what QuickQuote collects, why, where it goes and how you can get rid of it. QuickQuote (listed on the App Store as "QuickQuote AI Invoices") is run by Almacorp Pty Ltd, Australia ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
The short version. We collect what we need to run your invoicing and nothing else. No advertising, no selling of data, no tracking SDKs and no analytics in the app. You can delete everything yourself, instantly, from Settings.
1. What we collect
Your account
- Your email address and password. The password is stored hashed; we cannot read it.
Your business profile
- Business name, trade, country, currency and tax settings.
- Phone number, website, logo and brand colour.
- Bank account details that print on your invoices so customers know where to pay.
Invoices and quotes
- The invoice and quote content you create, including your customers' names, email addresses and job details.
- The job descriptions you type so QuickQuote can turn them into line items.
Optional connections
- If you connect your own email account so invoices send from your address, we store those mail server (SMTP) settings and credentials encrypted.
- If you connect Stripe, we store your Stripe Connect account id.
Purchases
- Purchase and entitlement records from Apple (iPhone) or Stripe (web) so we know your trial or subscription is active. We never see your card numbers.
Invoice views
- When a customer opens the link to an invoice or quote you sent, we log that it was viewed so the app can show you it has been opened.
2. How we use it
We use this information to run the Service for you: to create your account, write and send your invoices and quotes, show you what is owed and what has been viewed or paid, print your details and bank account on your documents, confirm your subscription, and reply when you contact us.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not build profiles of you or your customers.
3. AI processing of job descriptions
The job descriptions you type are sent to third-party AI providers, Google Gemini and Groq, solely to turn them into invoice or quote line items. Under the API terms we use with those providers, your descriptions are not used to train their models. Only the description you type is sent for this purpose; the provider does not receive your account or bank details.
4. Where your data lives and who handles it
- Hosting and database: the Service runs on Vercel and stores data in a Neon PostgreSQL database.
- Email delivery: invoices and quotes are emailed via Gmail, or via your own connected mail server if you set one up.
- AI providers: Google Gemini and Groq, for turning job descriptions into line items (section 3).
- Payments: Apple (App Store purchases) and Stripe (web purchases and Stripe Connect).
- Your customers' devices: the invoice and quote links you send open on your customers' devices, and we log when they are viewed.
Some of these providers process data outside Australia. We only share what each one needs to do its job.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your data is deleted immediately and irreversibly, and backups roll off within 30 days.
6. Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and all of your data at any time:
- in the app, go to Settings and then Delete account (immediate and irreversible); or
- email yousif.almashat@gmail.com and we will do it for you.
7. Security
Everything travels over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Connected email credentials and other secrets are encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
8. Children
QuickQuote is for business owners and sole traders and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Your rights
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can delete it yourself at any time (section 6). Email yousif.almashat@gmail.com for anything you cannot do inside the app.
If you have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first at the same address and we will look into it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10. Your customers' information
When you enter your customers' names, email addresses and job details, you are responsible for having the right to use them for invoicing. We process that information only to create and send your documents and to show you when they have been viewed.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
